STCW Proficiency in Maritime Security Awareness Course Overview
STCW Proficiency in Maritime Security Awareness (MSA) is designed to provide personnel who do not have designated security duties with the essential ship security awareness training which meets the knowledge, understanding and proficiency requirements as set out in the STCW Code.
MSA training must be undertaken by all seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on board any ship which is required to comply with the ISPS Code.
This is a mandatory course. But can be done alongside PDSD/S/VPSSD.

Entry Requirements:
No entry requirements for STCW Proficiency in Maritime Security Awareness.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates are issued with a NIMASA approved STCW Proficiency in Maritime Security Awareness certificate.
